So this is something I wrote a little while ago, but wanted to revisit it again and share it with all of you. There are so many people have low self esteem. I see it all the time. My Facebook news feed is flooded with negative comments by miserable people. It surprises me that these people cannot see if they change their attitude, then their life’s will begin to change. Moaning, and complaining about things does nothing except highlight bad situations and make you feel worse. So why do it? Why not just accept somthing bad has happend and move on? It’s in the past.
Too many people do not believe in themselves. I used to be one of those people. I never belived in myself or anything I did. Even when I did my best at somthing, in the back of my mind avoice would tell me “your still not good enough”. I would believe I couldn’t do things because I wasn’t good enough.
It is only very recently I have begun to believe in me. I now know, I can do anything. Nobody is there to stop me, except myself. I tell myself constantly “you can do it”, and it doesn’t matter what I’m doing.
I believe in myself and that is what is important, and you should too. Believe in yourself I mean. If you don’t , how can you expect others too? Stop telling yourself you cannot do somthing, and come up with excuses why you can’t. If you want to do somthing, then do it. You will find a way. Always believe you can do it. Set no boundaries for yourself, stop with excuses, and just do it! I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, but if you want it, you can have it. And to hell with all this ‘be realistic’ nonsense. You CAN do and be anything you want.
Somedays you may not feel like you can conquer the world. I even have those days. On those occasions, I find music is the best tool to get you back in the correct headspace you need to be in. Pick a song (or songs) which make you believe in yourself. I have hundreds of them. My current favourite is ‘Champion’ by RuPaul.
If you want somthing go and get it. Never give up, because you can make it. If you do feel likequitting, remember why you started. Make a mood board, or leave pictures or notes around your home of your goals to keep you focused and remind you of what you want.
You can do it. No more excuses.
